Amoray Dive Center LLC
Key LargoAbout this dive shop
Amoray Dive Resort is a welcoming, waterfront dive destination in the Florida Keys—perfect for beginners, families, and anyone looking for a fun, relaxed introduction to the underwater world. Founded in 1993 by SCUBA Diving Hall of Fame inductee Amy Slate, Amoray is built on a simple philosophy: diving should feel easy, safe, and full of joy. With swaying palms, thatched tiki huts, soft sand, and stunning seaside sunsets, the atmosphere is as comfortable above the water as it is below. Everything here is designed to take the stress out of diving. Step out of your room and onto our boat, relax by the pool between dives, or enjoy complimentary kayaks and bikes at your own pace. Our spacious 45’ custom catamaran offers smooth, stable rides—ideal for new divers, kids, and anyone who prefers a more comfortable experience. As a PADI 5-Star Dive Resort, we specialize in beginner-friendly training from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster, along with approachable specialty courses like Nitrox. Our patient, supportive instructors focus on building confidence so you can truly enjoy every moment in the water—no experience needed, just bring your sense of adventure. Located in Key Largo, Amoray offers easy access to some of the most beautiful and accessible reefs in North America, including John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary —with calm, shallow sites that are perfect for learning and exploring. Why divers love Amoray: Beginner-friendly diving & supportive instruction Smooth, spacious 45’ dive catamaran Family-focused atmosphere Scuba diving, snorkeling & sunset cruises PADI courses & fun specialty programs Coral reef conservation experiences Several waterfront rooms with balconies Studios, suites & kitchenettes Waterfront pool, tiki huts & beach Complimentary kayaks, bicycles & snorkel gear Up to 25% off Dive & Stay packages No experience needed—just bring your sense of adventure At Amoray, our motto is simple: Peace, Love & Diving.
