Since 1989, Aquastars has been delivering high-quality scuba diving holidays, courses, and liveaboard safaris in Egypt’s Red Sea. Today, we operate from our base at Amwaj Beach Club Abu Soma, offering easy access to some of the region’s most beautiful reefs, iconic wrecks, and world class dive sites. With a strong passion for marine life and conservation, we provide tailored diving experiences including dolphin safaris, freediving trips, and liveaboard adventures. Our small groups and flexible schedules allow us to customise each trip according to your interests and experience level. The Paradise House Reef is located in a sheltered bay near Safaga and can be accessed directly from the shore. Shallow seagrass areas transition into a diverse reef with coral gardens and artificial structures. Generally calm conditions with good visibility.

Lotus Bay House Reef

The house reef found on Lotus Bay is a great shore dive. The reef can be reached directly from the beach. It drops down to a depth of 9m, making it ideal for long dives. It offers the perfect conditions for beginners and also for training dives.

Tobia Island is a shallow reef near Safaga featuring a central sandbank surrounded by coral formations. Small ergs, seagrass areas and sandy patches define the topography. Usually calm conditions with little current.

Shaab Soraya is a small, isolated reef near Safaga with shallow plateaus and steep drop-offs. The topography is compact, featuring coral blocks and sandy areas. Depending on conditions, mild to moderate currents.

About 30 minutes from the coast by boat. The main reef extends to 14m deep. The south side goes to 20m. There is little current but due to its size, it can be a bit windy and is not always approachable when winds are strong.
