Club Subaquatique de Vernier (CSV)

Easy access by foot, bus or the mouettes it’s the perfect diving place in town. Located in the piscine of Geneve Plage it offer an ideal place for beginners with a little drop off and a maximum depth of 7 m . Even for advanced divers there is a bit of challenge to train the orientation.

it’s a 10 minutes boat ride from from Geneve Plage to get to this place. We start on gentle plateau at 6-7m before the slopes starts at 10m to go down to 35m. A nice drift dive for every level in forest of aquatic plants.

Hermance, on the shores of Lake Geneva near Geneva, is known for its clear water and varied underwater landscape. This dive site is accessible to divers of all levels and offers depths between 5 and 40 meters. Divers can explore rock formations and steep walls.

You can easily get into the water from Hermance beach, which has a fairly gentle slope. Underwater there are no less than 5 wrecks between -12 and -50 meters, a seagrass at -3 meters where it is not rare to see pike of all sizes, and a host of objects motley placed there for divers (letterbox, traffic signs, garden gnomes, etc.). Hermance beach offers all the necessary comfort for divers in training or for excursions: changing rooms, toilets, first aid, easy launching, refreshment bar, etc.

Dive site accessible from the shore, with many wrecks to see. It’s a great place to work on your orientation, with different headings to follow to find the submerged features.
