Deep Blue Diving, the first PADI Gold Palm Resort in Playas del Coco, is ready to fulfill a wide range of your diving pleasures. Since 1998, we have been introducing divers to the beautiful underwater world of Costa Rica. We, and our professional staff, provide the best service and the personal touch to your diving experience. We are happy to have so many great dive sites around Playas del Coco and they are just a short boat ride away. Most of the Papagayo dive sites accommodate all levels of experience from beginners to advanced divers. For more advanced diving we offer diving tours to Catalina Islands and Islas Murciélagos (Bat Islands). Let us take you scuba diving in Costa Rica!

The sandy bottom of the bay in Coco is great for training in the calm conditions. This is a great place to practice rescue skills from the boat, or practice navigation.

Memories is a fishing vessel that sunk in Coco Bay. The boat is too small to penetrate (about 25m long), but is big enough to enjoy the huge amount of juvenile fish seeking cover inside of the wreck. Look inside the cabin and see the captain’s chair, admire the nudibranch or scorpionfish, or just enjoy the view.

Estudiantes means students in Spanish. This shallow dive site is perfect to bring students and beginner divers, because of the sandy bottom, easy conditions and calm water. Also great for more experienced divers, because of the abundance of life.

Pelican Rock is a shallow dive site located close to Estudiantes. This is a perfect shallow training dive site marked by two pinnacles surrounded by a sandy bottom. Max depth is only 8 meters.
