Kudafushi Resort & Spa offers the opportunity to discover the incredible Raa Atoll, where dolphins, mantas, turtles and unique blend of marine life are spotted regularly. Our Dive Center exclusively follows the PADI system, assuring safe and comfortable dives with the aid of modern and trusted equipment and professional instructors. Enjoy the ease of communication via our multilingual Dive professionals as they guide you through various unspoiled reefs of Raa Atoll, groups no bigger than four divers per instructor. Be frequent diver or a newbie seeking to become professional PADI certified Instructor, our student centered PADI courses provides maximum practice and application. Students learn the basics through self- study and then they are guided by their instructors. The aim is to bring students into the water as soon as possible and provide them with the education they need to gain confidence in the techniques.

This is the local “bad weather dive site“ and replacement for Kinolhas when the current and waves come from the north. The place has the shape of a huge pool and is used for orientation and training dives. Deeper in the small overhangs with an incredible amount of macro life.

More of a typical Maldivian manta site i.e. a block on a sandy area and manta rays that may or may not use the block as a cleaning station. The sloping reef is between 5 and 15m guarded and offers many small fish a home. On the huge sandy area at 20m we also find stingrays.

Kottefaru Anemone Thila

This fantastic pinnacle gets its name from a blanket of anemones covering the top of the reef. There are 2 large overhangs on opposite sides of the thila full of interesting corals and glass fish.

Meedhupparu House Reef

DivePoint MEP makes here the night dives and sometimes also Current Specialty Dives. The reef goes down from 3-4m to 30m. Some nice Blocks a bit higher are full of clownfish and in the night you will find often a lot of lobsters and shrimps. But its not always possible to dive here. The current can be extreme!!

After a 35min boat ride we arrive on Kottefaru Bodu Thila. From July to November you can have wonderful Manta dives and the best on it, its easy diving, also with current you can easy see that amazing animals.

Great thila with many small overhangs that often serve as shelter for rays, nurse sharks and turtles. Soft corals and extremely many anemones !! Due to its location in a canal, a current must always be expected. We, therefore, recommend having experience with currents or a * special * dive.
