Dive Ocean on Makunudu Is. is a PADI 5-Star Resort and PADI Eco Center. We are a diving center for relaxed divers and people that want to learn how to dive or enjoy snorkeling and water sports. With multilingual instructors, a beautiful and easy house reef, and many dive and snorkeling sites just around the island - including Manta Points, shark points, and the famous Blue Canyon. We are also involved in conservation and restoration projects. In our house reef, we have 5 nurseries where we grow more than 420 corals. We have different initiatives going on, like coral relocation, reef cleaning, substratum consolidation, and others. All our guests are more than welcome to explore our nurseries and get involved in the project. Our passionate team is always happy to explain what we do and why, and we also have a PADI specialty that teaches you about corals and coral nurseries. The diving center is located just on the beach - with direct entry to a gently sloping lagoon and a protected house reef with many different species of fish and several resident turtles, eagle rays, and harmless nurse sharks. Even Manta rays occasionally pass by. About Dive Ocean The core of the dive ocean philosophy is the customer and his satisfaction. That means our mission is to bring "what the customer gets" as close as possible to "what the customer wants". It is this mission that creates every single detail of Dive Ocean. We also focus on being a diving school where divers come to learn from basics and/or improve their diving skills. We do pride ourselves on sending our guests back home as "better divers". We are also committed to teaching and spreading awareness about our oceans, how to protect them, and what you can do as an individual.
