FLARE DIVE

Short little walk through a wooded area and the Beach opens up for an amazing view. Photographers come here for the above water rock formations. Entry can be straight into the ocean. The best place to enter is to use the channel that was cut out as you can see in the map. It deep enough to start putting your fins on and kick out to the deeper spots. Be prepared to exit at another location and return to vehicle by foot. Its located in the Onna area. Dive site is classified as a level 5 (easy 1 to 5 hard). Parking on the road is limited.

Onna Point in Onna Village, Okinawa, is known for clear waters, rich marine life, and maze-like channels from 3–18m deep. Off the coast of the “Apogama” cave, its shallows are blanketed with vibrant hard corals, making it a scenic and diverse dive spot.

This dive site is characterized by its stunning drop-off and abundant coral formations on the shallow reef. As you descend along the drop-off, you’ll find a gently sloping rocky area with a depth of approximately 35 meters. The site is adorned with archways, tunnels, and crevasses, offering divers various exploration routes. It’s a haven for wanderlust divers. During the safety stop at a shallower depth, there’s a high likelihood of encountering multiple hawksbill turtles. The vibrant coral and the mesmerizing dance of small fish in the shallows add to the site’s beauty.

High Risk Dive site for entry and exit. You will climb over Lime Stone rock to get to the water. the Walk/climb in is dangerous due to the Lime Stone rock being very sharp. Highly encourage to dive this site with an experienced Diver who have dived it prior. Site can shift in current pretty fast, so be prepared to exit at another location and walk back to vehicle. Can be done from Boat. Known for having sharks throughout the year.

Manzakage in Onna Village, Okinawa, offers diverse dive sites with rich marine life. The highlight, Manza Dream Hole, is a vertical shaft from 5m to 30m, creating a stunning underwater scene. Popular for topography and macro life, it’s suitable for both beginners and advanced divers.

港からの所要時間は約１５分。オーバーヘッドロックは万座毛付近にあるドロップオフのダイビングポイント。ドロップオフの上は５ｍ程の深度で綺麗な珊瑚が広がりアオウミガメもよく見られる。水深３０～４０ｍ付近ではロウニンアジを観察できることもある。地形、珊瑚、生物の全てを楽しめることが出来るダイビングポイント。
