Minimum Number of Participants Most of our tours normally require a minimum of 2 participants to operate. Solo travelers are welcome. If you are traveling alone, please contact us before making your payment. We'll do our best to arrange a tour for you. Frequently Asked Questions Can beginners join? Absolutely. Many of our guests are first-time divers or feel nervous before their first dive. We provide relaxed, small-group support so you can enjoy the experience at your own pace. I can’t swim very well. Is that okay? Yes. For Discover Scuba Diving, strong swimming skills are not required. Our instructors stay close to you throughout the experience. Do you support English? Yes. We regularly guide international guests and provide English support before and during the tour. I’m traveling alone. Can I join? Of course. Many of our guests are solo travelers visiting Japan. Our small-group style makes it easy to join comfortably, even alone. Is it really possible as a day trip from Tokyo? Yes. Most of our dive trips are easy day trips from Tokyo, and our shop is located just a 30-second walk from JR Hiratsuka Station. What should I bring? After booking, we will send you all the details you need. In most cases, you only need swimwear, a towel, and comfortable clothes. I’ve never used a drysuit before. No problem. Many guests try a drysuit for the first time with us, especially during spring and winter. We will explain everything carefully before your dive.
