With only a handful of resorts in the Lhaviyani Atoll, Prodivers Komandoo enjoys a prime location in one of the most abundant atolls in the Maldives. Komandoo was the third Prodivers dive center to be opened in the Maldives and the second one in the Lhaviyani Atoll. The team of Komandoo offers divers and snorkellers the chance to either begin their underwater adventures, or to pursue new activities that enhance their abilities and experience. Daily trips and courses on request cater for beginners and experienced divers alike. Diving around Komandoo is unique and is some of the best that the Maldives offers. Countless drop offs, beautiful protected reefs full of life and colour and access to a large number of channels for those seeking bigger fish action. 50+ dive sites are within 40 minutes' drive and give you the chance to see grey reef sharks, manta rays, turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks, soft corals and large schools of colourful reef fish. Scooter diving and training for it is available on request. The team offer a full range of PADI recreational courses in 5 languages. The dive boats are spacious fiberglass Speed-Dhonis; washroom amenities and refreshments are provided on board.

Just insane! That exclamation best describes Nemo Thila which is located 60 minutes to the north of Le Meridien. This dive site will blow your mind and not surprisingly, it is located inside a national park. Stunning colors and more juvenile fish and small sardines than you could ever imagine live here.

We find this gem of a dive site after a 50 minutes boat ride to the north east. The dive site offers a wide variety of reef structures. You can experience a great sandy plateau with several cleaning stations and a wall with beautiful overhangs and soft corals during the same dive.

A site not to be missed by the experienced diver. With the right current Meyyafushi Kandu is a great channel to cross and experience what so many people come to the Maldives for. Starting from either one of the corners the actual swim only takes about 20 minutes.
