Kuramathi Resort Island is located in Rasdhoo Atoll, North East of Ari Atoll. Around this perfect coral island, there are a number of exciting dive locations, reachable in just 5 to 25 minutes by boat. Rasdhoo Divers Kuramathi offer courses for beginners and professionals alike. Our services include: A minimum of 3 dives per day - 2 in the morning & 1 in the afternoon Several times per week we offer an early morning dawn dive at our famous shark point Madivaru. Regular night dives at a nearby wreck and on our Kuramathi Housereef. Weekly Dive Safari Excursions to nearby North Ari Atoll. Kuramathi can be reached from the airport by speedboat in 60-90 minutes and 20 minutes by seaplane. The undisturbed sea and the surrounding reef of Kuramathi makes it perfect for diving throughout the year. The dive centre on Kuramathi island has successfully been operated by Mr. Helmuth Steuber and Mr.Matthew Berry, who have dedicated their expert experience in the diving industry since 1994 to enhance the services offered to adventurous Kuramathi guests.

Kuramathi Housereef
Maldives
It is located by the main snorkelling area from the Kuramathi Dive Jetty. Starts shallow and slopes slowly down with a maximum depth of 20m. Good to do as a beach dive from Kuramathi.

Fan Reef

Situated south of Kuramathi, a short two minute drive from the resort’s arrival and excursion jetty, divers are often at Fan reef, it is an easy wall dive and perfect for beginners and Open Water Divers. Most of the good stuff can be seen at shallow depths. However it is also by what they can see so close to shore.

Reef Explorer (wreck)
Maldives
The Reef Explorer is a 30m fishing boat resting at 12-16m, just a 5-min boat ride from Rasdhoo. Its shallow depth makes it perfect for all divers, including beginners and night dive enthusiasts. Be mindful of potential currents and maintain good buoyancy control near the sandy bottom.

Rasdhoo Channel
Maldives
Suitable only for advanced divers, the channel between Kuramathi Resort Island and Rasdhoo offers world-class encounters between 22 and 30 meters deep. This dive works best with a medium current pushing mainly across and slightly in toward the atoll. Divers should follow the edge of the channel.

Ory Faru is a great dive site situated right in front of Kuramathi island. This is an easy wall dive and perfectly suitable for all levels of divers. The reef starts at about 4 meters and drops down below 40 meters depth.

This 40m long supply boat was sunk in 1987. Resting at a maximum depth of 20m, this site is perfect for all diving levels and, due to its sheltered location, makes a great night dive.
