Since 1989, La Sirène Plongée has been the first to take care of beginners or inexperienced divers. The focus on the initial level of diving has allowed us, over the years, to develop a program specially designed for these new learners. Indirectly, we teach learners the necessary skills in perfect coordination with the constraints of the natural marine environment, while shaping in their minds a harmonious and pleasant image of the body shape. Our study confirmed the final objective: "Merge and blend into the underwater environment while having fun; recharge your batteries." Disciples of the "Total Physical Response" of Dr. Asher of the University of Cambridge, we offer all our students an experimental and conscious acquisition of breathing and movement while immersed. To do this, the learning will first take place in a swimming pool, in shallow water. This is how the learner will develop, at their own pace, the basic skills necessary to practice so-called "soft" diving: breathing, immersion, movement. By interacting with the element and becoming aware of their own body, the learner will then be able to better understand diving in a more sensory way, linking the underwater experience of the environment explored to a better understanding of oneself. Unlike the overly commercialized introduction to diving in dive centers, our Discover Scuba Diving course aims to transform a land swimmer like you into a submersible and thoughtful being. Discovering the underwater world with us is for us an adventure of personal discovery.
