In January 2004 SUB AQUA Dive Center took over Thulhagiri dive base. The dive building adapts perfectly to the relaxed picture of the island and the dive crew attaches great importance to individual customer service. Equipped with state of the art rental gear, Thulhagiri dive centre is a true oasis for all underwater-enthusiasts- from beginner level up to the experienced diver. We have an equipment-room where you can store your own dive gear or your rental equipment. In our workshop we are able to do smaller equipment-repairs. Besides our two compressors L&W 300/ 450, we also operate a nitrox-membrane unit. Thanks to the modern nitrox- membrane unit, the dive center is able to offer nitroxwithout surcharge for “Enriched Air”- certified divers. We carry sufficient sets of rental gear, as for example Sea Quest- jackets, Scubapro- regulators and Camaro- shorties for ladies (size S – XL) and men (size S – XXL). Dive computers (Suunto and Aladin), underwater lamps and –torches (NRC) and Technisub/ Seeman Sub- ABC-equipment. Possibility to rent underwater cameras (Sea & Sea MX10). Half-a-day trips will usually include exciting dive-sites such as the popular Manta point “Furana North“, "Barrakuda Giri“ or the infamous "Maldives Victory“. With our little boat "Ann“, we can now offer you individual dive-trips at a flexible time- schedule (min. 2 people required). On the list we have 5 superb divesites like e.g Thulhagiri Bodu Tila and Thulhagiri Kuda Tila, only within about 5 min. distance. There is also a shuttle-service to the outer housereef, which makes a nice “One-Way-Dive” back to the housereef-entrance possible.
