Tauchsport Egginger

Former amphibolite quarry (amphibolite is a hard rock, a mixture of metamorphosed igneous rocks), mining ceased in 1988. Dimensions about 200 x 20 to 50 m. Since 1996 it has been leased by the diving club Marine Domažlice. The former name is Maldives, now officially Lomeček.

Entry from the bank over a small slope (risk of slipping). Depth at the dive site up to approx. 18 meters. Also suitable for beginners due to flat areas. Maximum depth of 55 meters for experienced divers and experts.

Former brown coal mine. Entry from the shore, dive site, due to the depth, more suitable for advanced and expert divers as well as technical divers. Difficult for beginners to orientate themselves there.

Der Tauchplatz "Rutsch'n" bietet einige verschiedene Möglichkeiten. Folgt man der "Rutsch'n" taucht man mit sehr guter Orientierung (auch bei schlechterer Sicht) auf eine Tiefe von ca 37 Meter ab. Beim beenden des Tauchgangs findet man zwischen 5 und 12 Meter Tiefe einige Bäume bzw. einen kleinen Unterwasserwald.

On the southern shore of Lake Murner See, a former open-cast lignite mine, you will find the entrance “Slide.“ At about 5 m a metal material slide begins, which goes down to a depth of about 40 m. In the shallow area there is also a beautiful underwater forest. The acidic water provides mostly good visibility.

About 20 meters from the shore there are 2 platforms, at 1 meter and 2.7 meters depth, which are excellent for training beginners. Great also for all training in the limited open water.
