Trawangan Dive is well-established PADI Career Development Center and recipient of the PADI Green Star Award for environmentally-conscious business practices. The dive center offers two large training pools, changing rooms, an air-conditioned tech room, equipment storage and servicing area, retail shop and classroom. It provides easy access to the waters around Gili Trawangan - known as the ‘Turtle Capital of the World’ - with the underwater terrain dominated by 'bommies' or hills covered in hard and soft corals, sandy inclines interspersed with rock outcrops and gently sloping walls. Divers may see moray eels, clown fish, lion fish, reef sharks, coral groupers, pygmy sea horses and sea snakes For something quite unique, visit Biorocks, an artificial reef made up of Biorock® technology or check out the local Bounty Wreck. Another great option is Shark Point, a shallow sloping reef suitable for all divers with Open Water certification.

On the eastern side of Gili Trawangan is Good Heart. From north to south, this site starts off as a gentle slope which gradually gets steeper until it ends as a wall.

A gentle slope just off the east end of Gili Trawangan that gets its name from the huge rays that can be seen here. A good muck dive, this is a house reef and was the recent location of a Bio Rock project. A total of 8 artificial reefs were installed that have attracted a variety of marine life.

Just off the west side of Gili Meno, and home to a plethora of crustaceans, Meno Wall is a great spot for night diving. The wall runs from 5m down to 16m and a second wall runs a little deeper.

Magic Reef can be found where the current comes in on the northern side of Gili Meno. This is a great dive site for those looking to drift along the reef. The site is best suited for beginner level divers.

Bio Rocks

Bio Rocks are a project to help the re-growth of damaged reefs. They are man-made metallic structures which have healthy living corals attached to them, and the a small electric current put through them to speed up the procedure of making a new healthy reef.
