UB Diving Ltd. is a PADI 5 Star Training Dive Center based in Courtenay, British Columbia on Vancouver Island. For over 25 years, UB Diving has trained divers in real cold-water ocean conditions, producing confident, capable divers prepared to dive anywhere in the world. At UB Diving, instruction is built on real-world experience. Our instructors come from backgrounds that include commercial diving, maritime operations, and search and rescue, along with decades of cold-water diving on Vancouver Island. The result is training that goes beyond certification. Students develop the awareness, control, and confidence required to dive in real ocean conditions — not just pass a course.
