Dive shop profile
About this dive shop
Dive into the warm sea with great reefs and the “Liberty Wreck” right on your doorstep. View of the “Mount Agung“, the largest volcano in Bali, individual diving training up to professional levels, cozy bungalows with pool and restaurant, tours through unique landscapes and many more highlights we offer you at the Ocean Sun Dive Resort. -The dive center is always manned and you can dive at any time. There are 3 dive sites on site that can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. (Equipment is transported back and forth by the Porter Boys on the scooter) -Courses are offered by SSI from Zero to Hero. Regardless of whether it is an introductory dive or an instructor training course, the Ocean Sun offers serious training for every level. Friends of technical diving are also catered for. At BigBen from “The Tec Room“ technical diving can be learned at the highest level. For me personally, Ben is my diving role model. Safety is always the top priority and in the water it is calm in person. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you dear Ben very much for your time with you. -Other dive sites such as KubuWreck, Ahmed, Seraya and whatever their names are can be approached spontaneously with the PickUp. In OceanSun, you don’t need to plan in advance for days. Just ask the guides and off you go. -Manta Point, Crystal Bay, Mimpig, Tepekong, Pemuteran etc. are often approached and accompanied professionally at the request of the guests. -Friends of oxygen also get their money’s worth in OceanSun. With the required training, Nitrox is available from 22-100%. The rental equipment is in very good condition. Each guest has their “own“ equipment during their stay. -The 3 guides Kanci, Komang and Ketut always try to offer the guests a varied diving program. The boys have eyes for little things, so the photographer’s heart is happy. - Diving at special times is not a problem. I was often at the base at 5:00 am for the Early Morning Dive. The night watchman even drives the equipment to the dive site. Diving is still possible after 8:00 p.m. -Andi the employed diving instructor always tries to be helpful to guests. It should also be mentioned here that his manual skills are very good and that he has repaired the equipment for one or the other guest free of charge. It’s called service. It is also very competent underwater and does its job very well. I personally did 3 Instructor Specialty’s with him. Thank you Andy. Was fun. Accommodation / facility: - The resort has 10 bungalows which are always very clean and lovingly maintained. The bathroom is semi-open, which in my opinion is awesome. - The complex is beautifully designed and is looked after by the gardeners all day. They are so quiet that you don’t even notice them. -The pool is cleaned more often every day and is surrounded by several loungers and hammocks. Restaurant / Service: -In the resort’s own restaurant, dishes from all over the world are freshly prepared. The menu offers everything from Indonesian to European food. Coffee lovers will also get their money’s worth in OceanSun. There is a fully automatic gastro machine that grinds the best beans. A piece of cake from the showcase, which is freshly prepared every day, makes hearts beat faster. -The staff in the restaurant area are always very friendly and helpful. Special requests are also gladly accepted. Excursions / Transfer: -Airport transfer will be arranged competently and carefully by OceanSun. There, too, it is still possible to make a detour or two on the way. -Excursions are planned by Ricardo and Yeni according to the client’s request. This can be done spontaneously or planned in advance. -The rental of scooters including helmets is offered daily. Just ask in the restaurant and 15 minutes later it starts.
