Matahari Tulamben Resort, Dive & Spa

There is a garden of anemones and about 60 statues on the far right side of the dive site. This is a nice second dive in the morning to get away from the crowds at Liberty Wreck. Entry and exit from the beach can be difficult.

One of the top destination in Tulamben, the “Drop Off” it’s a nice and deep wall absolutely amazing for any type of diver. Starting from a depth of only 3 meters, the wall reaches a max depth of over 80 meters! Covered in corals, the wall is home to many different type of marine life.

Drop Off is slope down where on one side is a wall down to a deep water, mostly stay on maximum depth at 30 meters where reef is very nice well covers with soft coral. To dive is here is beach entry, as a diver should always check the SPG how much air left before turn swimming back to exit point.

We are doing this dive as part of a 2 dive trip to Tulamben and often use it as a drift dive for Advanced Adventurer speciality dives, combined with Wreck diving in the morning.

This is probably the most famous dive site in Bali. The wreck is 120m long and it sunk off the coast of Tulamben in 1963. This is an easy dive site accessible by shore, but at the same time very interesting and home to amazing creatures. Anemones, soft and hard corals are grown all over the wreck.

Departure from the Drop-off parking area using a traditional Jukung Boat. The dive site is a prolongation of the drop-off ad Alam anda dive site just before reaching Batu Kelebit dive site.
