Volcano Diving Center

Groupers reef is in Caldera Beach, the only place you can enter the calderas’ water from the shore. This wreck is located inside of the volcano of Santorini. It sank in 1981 in the port of Taxiarchis next to the port’s unique church built into the cliff of the volcano. The wreck sank accidentally due to a crew member’s mistake with the pumps.

This steamboat shipwreck is in the active volcano of Santorini between the new and old Kameni, two minutes away from the famous hot springs. The boat sank at 1926 due to a fire in the engine room which no one can explain.

The Santorini Caves are located next to the ancient town of Akrotiri, 20 minutes away from the harbor of Caldera Beach.The caves are made of lava and were created after the volcanic explosion of Santorini’s volcano.
