Fish Market

When you hear fish market, the assumption is that there is a lot of fish, right? At this location the depth is very uniform as there aren’t a lot of high rock clusters such as in places like jardines or cazones. It’s pretty flat (but not lacking in coral). In a dive you will see 40+ schools of fish containing 50-100 fish in each. They’re usually small grunts of various species within these schools but there’s loads of parrotfish and other common reef fish. There are also some schools of sailors choice. Also a hotspot for eels. Saw a 4 foot big green moray and a small blue striped area. If you’re going on a few dives in Puerto morelos this should be one of them (along with C-56).
