Stonehenge
Koh Lipe, Thailand, ThailandAbout this dive site
Explore the water around Thailand
Stonehenge is a superlative dive site and must be considered one of the top scuba spots in Thailand. Stonehenge is located only 5-10 minutes from Koh Lipe by boat and is full of Soft Leafy Coral making it a beautiful and vibrant reef. Generally you will see schools of Barracudas, Trevally & Yellow Snappers. Smaller creatures include Seahorses, Shrimps, Crabs, Nudibranchs, Seamoths, Stonefish & Frogfish. As this site is very exposed, strong currents can be expected, meaning diving here around Full or Black moon is not usually possible.

I did my advance open water in Koh Lipe. In this dive site I did the Fish Identification dive. And this were my notes: "anemone fish, lobster, flabelina, blue sea star, sea cucumber, kuhl's eel, brandel sea krcutt, squid, common lionfish, boarded scorpionfish, seal faced pufferfish, trumpetfish, tiger tail seahorse, blusestreale cleane wrasse, great barracuda, yellowtail barracuda, big eye snapper, yellow-band fusilier."
