Tangalooma Wrecks

Australia

About this dive site

Explore the water around Australia

The Tangalooma Wrecks are located just off the beach at Moreton Island, about a 75-minute ferry ride from Brisbane. They consist of 15 purpose-sunk ships that were deliberately scuttled between 1963 and 1984 to create a safe harbour for small boats — and they’ve since transformed into an fantastic artificial reef
