Gobies

It is one of the channels on the Western side of the atoll that can be crossed with mild current or entered with medium/strong current. Usually found on the outer side: stingrays, grey reef sharks, napoleon wrasses, fusiliers and many more reef fish.

Three-minute boat ride from Natadola Beach. Amazing dive, especially for divers with no experience or not comfortable underwater. Coral nursery area. Max depth is 8 meters. Best place for Open Water Training.

Lucy’s Point is a wall dive on the corner of Natadola bay. This site can be dove at any depth but is nicest between 10 and 18m. Green & Hawksbill turtles are regular visitors of the 18m-deep cleaning station while Nurse Sharks often rest in the 14m cave you can visit near the end of the dive. Avoid if swell!

Spot with entry from the coast and with different diving levels, from beginners with a depth of 4m and a sandy bottom to advanced diving up to 22m.

A lava escarpment area and the formation of a stone arena and sandy bottom with a large area. Possibility of drifting or even diving to 30m. Possibility of strong currents.

The reef top starts at 5 meters going west inwards where red tooth triggerfish converge, hence the name. Though titan triggerfish are also around to pick up a fight with the unsuspecting diver during nesting season.

This dive spot is 14 minutes by boat and characterized by impressive lava tubes with several passages and entrances. Possibility of diving with depths of around 14 to 20m deep. Possibility of curl

Fingers of rocks extending North from Grande Island. Gravel, sand and rocks make up the bottom. Can be tricky to dive when winds from the north make it surgy. Otherwise a very pleasent and easy dive with varying topography.

You can only park at the parking lot of the restaurant, from there it is still quite a walk before you can enter the water. It is best to enter the water at the left side of the light pole and from there parallel to the side to dive towards the Zeeland bridge.

It is a 200 meter walk along the dike. Mean the left side of the breakwater otherwise you will end up in the harbor right away! The first part from the shore is quite shallow and sandy. At about 100m from the shore the bottom then goes steeply down (especially near the breakwater).

Fantasea Land takes its name from its dreamy topography featuring swim-throughs, overhangs, and archways. The site includes a mini wall where dives conclude at 25 feet.

Fish Bowl is a shallow reef dive famous for its huge concentration of reef fish, which is why divers call it a “fish bowl.” When the fish gather around the coral bommies, it can feel like you’re inside an aquarium. It’s usually a relaxed and colourful dive, suitable for most divers.

Kraaijenbergseplas 7 is a natural diving spot. It is a clear lake and there are enough fish swimming. The disadvantage is that it can be very busy here in the summer months.

La Marmite, in the Leucate lagoon, is a shallow-water dive site offering excellent visibility depending on conditions. Its calm lagoon environment is ideal for beginner dives, observing biodiversity, and nature-focused dives.

Les Vallons, in the Leucate lagoon, offers calm, shallow-water diving, ideal for beginners, underwater photography, and observing the biodiversity unique to Mediterranean lagoon environments.

This site has a 30m long shipwreck called “Nuranee Queen“ that has been laying on a sandy bottom for 30 years. Her deepest point is at 24m in a sandy area and the top of the wreck is at 17m, close to the wall of Guraidhoo’s harbour.

Easy, shallow dive site close to the Marina San Carlos. Huge wall with large broken boulders. Beautiful, open swim through. Can have strong swell.

The wreck is an upside down fishing boat that accidentally sank to 15 meters a few years ago. It attracts a lot of fish and critters are using it as a hiding spot.
