Tiger Shark

Kandooma Thila, or also called Cocoa Thila, is one of the most exciting dives in South Male’ Atoll with great scenery as well as prolific fish life. The west and north side are the most spectacular, with the top at 16m. These are a focal point for schools of Bluefin Trevallies, eagle rays, dogtooth tunas and loose groups of gray reef sharks (50+ in the right current). Cleaning station for grey reef , you can see them going in a vertical position while small wrasses are cleaning them. Currents can be very strong making it a challenging dive. For experienced divers only.

Tiger Port is an amazing location where you're able to see a large number of full-grown sharks including Tiger sharks, Bull sharks, Hammerheads, spinner sharks. Divers must have at least Open Water Diver certification to dive at this exciting and unbelievable location, Dive with experienced dive guides to practice safety protocols. SMBs are a must at this dive site as it is a high boat traffic location and safety should be the highest priority. 10 minutes by boat ride from Male' to the dive site.

There are types of sharks, tuna, barracuda and dolphins, characterized by currents and good visibility, there are caves in it, and there is an area behind the Abu almadafea that is useful for snorkeling and swimming.

Amphitheatre’s name says it all, divers can just observe the living color. Schools of marine life deliver the most brilliant show. Maximum depth is 27m with the top of amphitheatre at 18m.

This dive site features an impressive underwater wall adorned with overhangs that create a dynamic and visually striking landscape. One of the few known reef manta cleaning stations in Southeast Asia where cleaner wrasse serve to remove dead skin off the mantas’ body. This site is called Black Rock because of a rock at 8 meters where one of the buoys are set up.

Plateau at 13m extending the barrier in the Boulari pass. A drift dive. This is the ideal place to observe manta rays, as there is a cleaning station. Strong current.

It is a drift dive that starts in the Outside Sea and ends in the Inside Sea, therefore, it doesn’t demand much effort from the divers during the displacement. The average depth is 15 meters and the point is made up of rock formations of volcanic origin.

This diving point is located at the back of Sela Gineta Island, with very clear and shallow waters. The dive can present moderate current due to its location.

Accessible from north shore road at Cane Bay Beach. 600ft/200m kick out to buoy at depth 25ft/7.5m, steep slope to 65ft/20m, then a vertical wall dropping down to over 2,000ft/600m. It’s a beautiful dive. Sometimes reef sharks at the drop off. Be on alert if you are spearing lionfish.

There are four moorings along this outflow pipe that are no longer in service. This is the 3rd farthest from the shoreline. Many critters along the pipe and in the surrounding reef.

Different small rocky canyons await you during this dive. Depth of 12 to 21m, this site is perfect for discovering the richness of Tintamarre to all levels of divers.

Great dive site on incoming tide, or when the current flushes with clean ocean water. Ridges running at right angels to drop off. This is an advanced dive as depths can reach 25m or more.

Delsan is considered a top 50 dive destination on the planet. The reef top starts at 5 meters and gently slopes toward the edges of a wall to 23 meters where a crevasse plunging to 40 meters becomes a refuge from the raging current.

Dream House is a seamount the size of a football field. The northern edge has a drop of from 40ft to 250ft. Currents flowing over the seamount attracts many species of pelagic and brings in nutrients which soft coral and other specie of coral feed off.

Just off of Maui sits the small island of Lanai. You can stay on this island but most people opt for staying on Maui and then taking a dive charter over to Lanai just for the day. First Cathedral is Lanai’s most popular dive site featuring a two-story underwater cavern that will take your breath away.

This is THE place to night dive with manta rays. One of the most famous dives in Kona allows you to kneel on the bottom in about 35 feet of water in the dark of night while a huge light is set in the middle of all the divers that attract phytoplankton and krill so the mantas swoop in right over you to feed.

Cross the main plateau and let yourself be carried along by the current, in one direction or the other, depending on the tide. Getting in and out of the water can be tricky with the current. Take a breath and discover pinnacles covered in gorgonians. Turn your head to the blue and let yourself be surprised.

Sandy bottom outside Bimini harbor where Hammerhead shark dive is set up. No features on site itself, site location changes slightly based on tides, visibility, and boat traffic.

One of the best dive sites in the world. Can be done as a drift or mooring dive. Wonderful coral garden with soft and hard corals. Sometimes challenging currents on the “corners“. Backside of the reef known for hammerhead sharks in July to October.

Kona, located on the Big Island of Hawaii, has truly world-class diving, with vibrant reefs, cavernous lava tubes, majestic manta rays, fish and inverts galore, and the occasional “big animal” encounter. Kona is located on the more popular, drier, western side of the island and offers diving to suit every level.

La Renée is a deliberately sunk ship , lying on the sand of the Atlantic Ocean at a depth of 45m, the wreck is covered with corals and anemones.

A point much visited by accredited divers, the Laje Dois Irmaos is next to the hill that bears the same name. The dive at this point can reach a depth of 22 meters.

It is a wreck of an 18 meter long tugboat which lies 15 meters under water. This ship has become the habitat of a more than interesting marine fauna. Among other things, you will find sea breams, lobsters, porcupine fish and stingrays.
