Gilboa Quarry is the best inland place to scuba dive in the Midwest! It is a 14+ acre limestone quarry, located in Northwest Ohio. There are wooded campgrounds encompassing over half the quarry’s perimeter. It truly is a great location for diving and dive training. The quarry provides two distinct personalities: the shallow side at 5 – 65 ft provides great recreational enjoyment, while the deep side, with depths of 130 plus feet, is suitable for technical training. There are a multitude of items of interest for all divers; whether it is our large training platforms, 15 – 130 plus ft depths, or our many sunken treasures such as the Grumman airplane and Sikorsky helicopter, there is certain to be something of interest for everyone. Our aquatic life is second to none. Snorkeling for Paddlefish and on site camping or lodging for divers and their guests will round out your stay at Gilboa Quarry.

This is a good place for clean up dives, there are also some tree stumps with unique roots that are interesting to see. There is no cell phone reception at this lake.

Diving at White Star Quarry is considered to be the best inland diving that Northern Ohio has to offer. White Star is place to dive that is local, convenient and understands that recreational activities are important to you. It is also a place where we can bring our non-diving friends and family with us, without having to pay to have them sit and watch.

This dive site is a great training area for navigation, search and recovery and night diving. This is a private dive site and permission needs to be obtained.

This site is found on the east side of the lake. This dive has a very steep drop-off with lots of premises and old trees. One of the more picturesque dives.

This is an excellent dive for beginner divers and is situated between M & M and Cohens corner and is a shallow cliff dive. It was named after a large piece of quartz.

This is a very easy entry lake with a rocky bottom and usually about 20’ of visibility. Lots of boat traffic so be sure to bring a float. The deepest spot is 70ft.

The monument. This dive site is a deep wall that will lead to a ’50s era rotted out car at ~125’. Find parking 1.8 miles south of the entrance to Lake Chelan State Park. Wooden ladder takes you into the water, just below you’ll find a bottle line leading the way to the car.

The Pont des Piles, submerged in Lake Éguzon in Cuzion, is an ancient bridge whose arches and piers offer a unique dive experience combining submerged heritage and freshwater. Accessible at various depths, the site allows divers to explore the ruins with excellent visibility, depending on conditions.

This dive site has a cliff with a gentle rocky slope dive. It is a dive site that is suitable for both beginners and for the more advanced divers. This is a wall dive.

This is one of Japan’s three major clear streams and has a high level of clarity. The water depth is often 3-6 meters, but in some places it can be over 10 meters in depth.

Plura is Northern Europe’s biggest water-filled cave! The magnificent marble formations are there to give you an experience you’ll never forget. The cave is located on private land. The use of infrastructure and parking has a fee of 500kr/day. Visibility is 8-100 meters with an average of 30 meters.

The Prins Willew V is a 258ft/78m freighter sitting in about 70ft/21m of water. Built in 1948, it sank in 1954 with a cargo of Hides, outboard motors, tv tubes, aluminum kitchen ware, horsetail hair, hog casings, printing press, machine tool parts, canned fish, fruit milk and vegetables. Plus many other items.

Just 1.5 hours from Whangarei, north of Dargeville Kai Iwi lakes offers an alternate easy access dive site on days when you just can’t get into the sea. Lake Taharoa’s Promenade Point offers a toilet facility, parking and easy access to both shallow water (less than 3m) and drop off entries (5m+).

Your typical Canadian lake dive featuring some friendly bass fish but in cold water. Bring your 7mm wetsuit or a dry suit for this dive! A great dive for beginners and those just looking to blow some bubbles.

The Waters SCUBA park in Fairbanks, Alaska is still gaining attractions including a plane, bus and scuttled boat. In the winter the pond hosts ice dives as well.

Located in the famous Thunder Bay of Lake Superior, Silver Harbour is a popular dive and recreational site. This is a conservation area that provides year round access to the lake. The diving is nice with great rock features.

Looking for some neat artifacts? Than Silver Islet is for you! This unique dive site has an abundance of history where divers can find old artifacts dating to the early 1800’s. The clear waters of Lake Superior provide excellent visibility making the location easily navigable .

This is a very shallow dive maximum 12 m. Full of tumbled rocks and trees and full of fish. After 12 m a silty slope goes into deeper water and you can reach 30 m very close to the shore.

Sunshine Bay Boat Ramp is located within Lake Whakatipu. The site has a fault line with steep terraced cliff faces that drop to beyond diveable depths. The site has very interesting geological foundations that provide for a fantastic fresh water wall dive.

Fresh water river dive. This is a seasonal dive when the current is mild. River has swift current further west you go away from the natural cove.

With the pedal boat we go from Urfeld to the buoy at the edge of the Urfeld Bay. After the descent to approx. 20m at the buoy line there is a wonderful steep face to the south, which drops down to great depths.

Location at an altitude of 900m with extremely good visibility for most of the year. It is located on Mount Tara within the national park. The access to the water is direct and depends on the level of the water, but in any case it is possible to approach by car.

The clean water of Lake Zaovine, which is used for drinking with minimal processing, attracts divers, swimmers, fishermen and families on vacation every year. This artificial lake is located on the Tara Mountain and It belongs to Tara National Park. This is a dive site called Klanica.
