This shore dive ranges from 5m to 30m, featuring a coral reef starting at 3m with soft and hard corals. Artificial reef structures lie between 15m and 18m. The current is usually mild to moderate, making for a manageable dive. The surface is generally calm but can be choppy from May to October.

Also known as Kubu Wreck, the Boga Wreck is an artificial wreck that was submerged in 2012 in the Kubu village area, located 30 meters from the shoreline. The location of this artificial reef is not far from the famous USAT Liberty shipwreck.

Small but beautiful reef with many fish and nice corals. Maximum depth 40 meters. Starts with sandy bottom after a stony part from the beach. A small coral block going down and the best reef is on the left side from the beach

Great and easy dive site. Access from beach. Beautiful corals and contrast with black sand on the bottom. Perfect dive after Boga Wreck. Good for all levels.

Here is another set of great dive sites just to the south east of Tulamben Bay. The sites are accessed using a jukung (small outrigger fishing boat) and depending on conditions, which one's we can visit. In one of them you can find a sunken car and some other pieces of artificial reef on the sandy slope – which itself is a natural home to cuttlefish, gobies, Decorated dartfish, Helmut gurnard and nudis. There are some areas of Garden eels too. Another interesting dive site, near the beach, you can find in 3-8 metres of water, a lovely reef with some beautiful Staghorn corals and schools of reef fish. AMD-B dive staff report regular sightings of reef sharks, Bumphead parrotfish, barracuda and turtles. Muck divers will find many nudis and other macro creatures dotted around the black sand slope, together with eels, cuttlefish, Leaf scorpionfish and more. Another dive site, at around 20-30m depth, it's reef becomes richer with a large number of sponges, including Barrel sponges, and is a good place to see reef sharks. Thresher sharks and Eagle rays are (occasionally) seen here. There is a small drop-off with Elephant-ear sponges and hard corals, and some large, semi-resident Napoleon wrasse. Just slightly further round the volcanic spur than Palung-Palung, You can also find two large rocks that lie just offshore. As you follow the sloping reef deeper, the dive site becomes more dramatic. You’ll see three steep ridges encrusted with a wonderful diversity of hard and soft corals, fire and table corals, many beautiful sea fans, and sponges. Between the ridges are channels of grey and white sand that run 25-40m in depth. Here we often see schools of Big-eyed trevallys, while on the sand are Fire dartfish, Gold-specs jawfish, Starry puffers and cuttlefish.
