In winter best diving conditions. Unfortunately not open to the public. Maximum depth is unfortunately only 4m. In summer much overgrown and by bathers the visibility is clouded.

The South Beach area of Hohendeicher See features a shallow and easily accessible entry point. The underwater environment consists of sandy sections, aquatic vegetation and gently sloping terrain, making it well suited for training and recreational diving.

A very beautiful and Hamburg’s only diving site. From the DUC entrance (Warwischer Hinterdeich 55), there is a small parkour at depths of 5-13m. Various good entrances around the lake. Please do not park on private property.

The DUC Hamburg dive site in the Hohendeicher See features a training platform, sunken objects like a phone booth, and good infrastructure. Ideal for beginners and advanced divers. Visibility up to 6 m, diverse fish life, and an exciting underwater landscape.

Hemmoor is een geweldige duikstek met perfect zicht, veel leven en tal van objecten. Het is een oude steengroeve. Het bestaat uit vijf duikgebieden: ‘Het Bos’, ‘Het Strand’, ‘De Straat’, De ‘Andere Kant’ en de ‘Rüttler’. Je ziet krijtwanden, fabrieksinstallaties, steile drop-offs en nog veel meer. Fenomenaal duiken met soms tot 20 meter zicht!

At the entrance 4B is a slightly sloping shore. At about 8m depth you will find the first car wrecks. If you dive after about 5 minutes over a plateau, you reach a break-off edge, which reaches to approx. 35m depth. Right hand along the edge is the wreck Hemmoor at about 17m.
