Marsa Alam is a well-known secret in diving circles. Just a few steps from the Steigenberger Hotel, you can find our new diving center offering unforgettable dives at our amazing house reef. Expect pristine coral reefs and great biodiversity. Enjoy fantastic dives from the jetty, have our brand new zodiac bring you to gaze into amazing marine life at the north and south reef of Coraya Bay, or take a speed boat to go even further to incredible dive sites, including Trombi or Gamila. At Abu Dabbab−one of the most famous dive and snorkel sites in the southern Red Sea−you can often see big turtles. Highest safety and quality standards are very important to us. The 15 Alaya Divers Alaya team members are looking forward to offering you an unforgettable diving experience.

Shaab Alaya

Shaab Alaya is dived in a northerly direction. On the stone wall are countless hard and soft corals. Because of the beautiful drop off that starts from 2m till 17m there is a lot of different marine life to find in and on the wall. The structure of the reef gives the possibility to look for the small marine life.

Marsa Umm Gerifat South

Snorkelers and divers can enter the park via the jetty/zodiac, speedboat, or beach. The entrance is very easy because you enter the water from a staircase. This site is a slowly sloping reef with many plateaus and up to 40m depth. There is a beautiful canyon at 6 - 18m. Training platforms at 2,3,5 and 9m.

The Cave

Also known as El Masduda, The Cave’s entrance, and exit is through 2 long canyons with closed and open spaces. The main route is marked with a rope. Outside the main reef, you will find many wonderful, small pinnacles with a depth of around 15-18 meters.
