Superior Producer is rated as one of the best wreck dives in the Caribbean, located between Double Reef and the entrance to St. Annabaai, this cargo ship sits upright on a sandy bottom at 30 m / 100 ft. The ship sank in 1977 and is covered with coral and sponges and has an openly accessible cargo bay.

Double Reef can either be a boat or shore dive. Located next to the MV Superior Producer, shore access is close to the Water Plant in Otrabanda. ​Double Reef is aptly named for a smaller, shallower reef, followed by a sandy area and a larger reef plateau. The second reef holds most of the action. Hard and soft corals — including very large brain coral — lots of green and spotted morays, cowfish, angelfish, tangs, urchins, puffers, anemones and tons of different kinds of parrotfish busily go about their day. As with most sites in Curacao, you’ll want to look closely and pay attention. This small island isn’t known for large pelagics, but rather the abundance of smaller, reef-dwelling critters and the healthy reefs they call home. Take the time to look in every nook and cranny, including the sand in between the two reefs here. In doing so, you’ll be rewarded with the crazy eyes of gobies and blennies, the bustling work of cleaner shrimp, tiny crabs, cute baby and juvenile boxfish, hiding eels, lurking lionfish and more. Relax here and pause to watch closely while working on your buoyancy, and enjoy the show. The first reef bottoms out at approx. 45 ft; the top of the outer reef starting at approx. 60 feet and dropping off to….. deep.

A calm, easy shore dive where you enter the water from a small harbor. 20-30 meters out from the harbor you will find an interesting artificial reef made from dumped cars, cranes, and more scraps. Sometimes large tarpon hang around here.

One of THE best dive + snorkel sites on Curacao. Easy entry, huge variety of corals and sponges + LOTS of marine life. Small, sandy, local’s beach with lots of fishing boats and lots of character. A huge, beautiful, lively, healthy reef filled with lots of macro and huge variety of corals and marine life. Excellent night dive spot also. Easy, sandy entry, less than 1 minute swim out to gently sloping drop-off.

A nice deep dive where car wrecks were dumped in the sixties. The car wreckage starts at 15mtr/50ft with the more intact ones a bit deeper. At 30mtr/100ft you find a small barge on a sandy bottom with some more boat wreckage around it. For the tech diver there is more to be found at 60mtr/200ft and deeper.

The barge carrying cars and trucks from the 50s, were sunk in the early 70s to create an artificial reef and encourage marine life back into the area. The cars and trucks are now totally integrated into the reef - look out for moral eels swimming through car headlamps, and check out your reflection in the chrome bumpers... Car Pile starts at approx 45 ft / 13m and gets increasingly interesting the deeper you go so watch your depth! Explore the shallow reef on your way back for a super-long and very pretty safety “go”. Easy, sandy entry at The Dive Bus house reef, Pierbaai
