Dive Club Maldives

The Maldives Victory is a cargo ship that sank in 1981 just off of the island of Male City and the airport island. This 80m long cargo ship sunk while on its way from Singapore carrying goods for the resort islands.

This dive site is 10 minutes from hulhumale’. This is the south east reef of the airport.gentle slope starting from 2 meters,Reef edge between 3-5 meters sloping to 30 meters+

Tiger Port is an amazing location where you're able to see a large number of full-grown sharks including Tiger sharks, Bull sharks, Hammerheads, spinner sharks. Divers must have at least Open Water Diver certification to dive at this exciting and unbelievable location, Dive with experienced dive guides to practice safety protocols. SMBs are a must at this dive site as it is a high boat traffic location and safety should be the highest priority. 10 minutes by boat ride from Male' to the dive site.

It is a dive for advanced divers with multiple logged dives and experience in deep diving, as you will be spending a lot of time in the blue water hanging at around 30m. The dive is in the middle of the ocean though you may start from the reef. High boat traffic. DSMB is a must.

5 min from Hulhumale Jetty, an extensive reef. It’s a steep slope starting at 3-5m down to 25m, and then where it has a sandy bottom at 30m+. the further you got away from the the reef the deeper it gets. This dive site normally doesn’t have current. Please use an SMB when ascending as there is alot of boat traffic.

This dive involves feeding at a depth of approximately 24 meters to attract pelagic sharks (tiger sharks, hammerhead sharks, bull sharks, spinner sharks, guitarfish, rays, etc.). The dive follows the artificial breakwater wall in the Hulumale lagoon, with divers sitting in a semicircle. Discovered in October 2020.
