Dive Oceanus - Royal Island is a 5* PADI dive center located in the Baa Atoll, within the radius of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Royal Island is just 20 minute a boat trip away from the world-famous site of Hanifaru Bay. With some of the best dive sites in Baa Atoll, this dive center offers two daily boat trips and has a rich house reef that is accessible straight off the dive center jetty. Baa Atoll is rich in marine life encounters and blessed with thilas, channels and coral gardens. The atoll itself is warm and tranquil, offering excellent diving. Manta rays are seen in record numbers from early June, and whale sharks are also sighted during dives and snorkeling.

Anga Thilas

Anga Thilas is a Baa Atoll dive site made up of four separate pinnacles, each featuring sloping wall topography and overhangs. The pinnacles are spaced about 30–50 m apart, with depths ranging from 10 m to a maximum of 30 m and vibrant coral growth throughout.

Dhigu Thila is a long thila in Baa Atoll stretching approximately 400 m, with a small pinnacle on its western side. The site features overhangs, a shallow top at around 8 m and drops to about 35 m. It is located east of Anga Thilas.

Dharavandhoo Thila

Dharavandhoo Thila orients itself on a north, slightly northwestern to south, slightly southeastern axis, with its shallow end being on the south, coming up to a rooftop at around 6 meters. You’ve got a good 20-30 meters of oval-shaped reef top, which slopes gently down to a sandy bottom a bit over 20m.
