Galathea Diving Center

János Molnár is a vast underground cave, located right under Budapest. The depth of the cave is approximately 100m and the width is 3km. The cave is made out of thermal karst springs, spewing from the depths and it is one of tje biggest thermal caves in the world. The tepmerature of water fluctuates between 25-27°C.

After the beer factory stopped pumping, groundwater levels raised and partly flooded the underground mine system where you can now dive. The water is crystal clear and visibility is awesome.

Located in the Aquaworld Resort. The dive center offers you training opportunities with 4 meter, 2.5meter wave, and 2 meter deep swimming pool access throughout the whole year.

Gárdonyi Géza “Ponyvás” swimming pool is located in the inner area of ​​Érd, Gárdonyi Géza utca 1 / b. at. Nice clean 180 cm deep pool. There are parking spaces in front of the swimming pool.

The Pisztrángos lake is located -30 minutes from Budapest-, in Erdőkertes. The maximum depth of the lake is 14 meters, with extremely good visibility. Also there is a sunken old Volga car in the lake.

Lake Palatinus is a mine lake, formed as a result of sand extraction in the 1950s. Its good water quality is due to the mining technology they started using at the time.
