Tanjong Jara Dive Resort

The middle of the 3 ’Tokongs’, or Temple in Malay Language, Tokong Burung is a dive site around Tenggol Island, featuring pinnacle & boulders terrain. The maximum depth is approximately 35 meters, making it suitable for experienced divers. It is renowned for its rich marine life.

Fish Bowl is a shallow reef dive famous for its huge concentration of reef fish, which is why divers call it a “fish bowl.” When the fish gather around the coral bommies, it can feel like you’re inside an aquarium. It’s usually a relaxed and colourful dive, suitable for most divers.

Tanjung Gemuk is a popular dive site on Tenggol Island, known for its diverse marine life and relatively calm waters. It’s located on the southern coast and is suitable for both beginner and experienced divers.

Tanjung Gemuk is a reef slope dive around Tenggol Island, known for its healthy coral gardens, rocky outcrops, and abundant reef fish. It’s popular with intermediate divers and offers opportunities for both wide-angle reef photography and macro exploration. Average depth 12-18m, maximum 25-30m.

Tokong Laut is one of the deepest and most pelagic-rich dive sites around Tenggol Island. It’s a pinnacle/reef site situated offshore and is favoured by advanced divers because of strong currents, deep slopes, and abundant big fish encounters.
